Alex Richter, born in Munich, Germany, has spent more than 30 years in the restaurant business. As a trained chef, Richter knows what to serve, how to serve it and especially what keeps the customers coming back for more.
His latest enterprise is Royal Bavarian Schnitzel Haus. Open for, now, more than three years, it has been decorated with candles, antique dressers and mirrors to create a cozy neighborhood eatery and bar.

The Schnitzel Haus staff hand-prepares every dinner of traditional Bavarian fare, from schnitzel to bratwurst to spaetzle (German pasta made of flour, egg and water). Richter says customers especially enjoy the pork medallions or a medley of gorgonzola cheese and pears which “sells like crazy.” Potato pancakes get high praise too.
